Flower and Plant production / Wholesale / Retail
We produce and sell flowers, plants and gardening materials. Our proposals based on partnerships with industry-leading specialists are among the best in the floral sector. We also process bouquets and supply them to supermarkets.
Trade business

We are the sole distributor or an authorized distributor in Japan of leading overseas nurseries, supplying plants of the highest quality nationwide, including rare plants.

We make proposals worldwide inspired by the wonderful flower gardens, distinctive culture, and outstanding technology of Japan, a tradition of excellence in which we take pride.
Design proposals
We propose designs of gardens and spaces embodying Japan's unique aesthetic heritage and sensibility, as well as designs attuned to sustainable greening.
Environment and education
We are fully engaged in environmental conservation and improvement projects using our original products and patented techniques. We are also promoting environmental education using plants for the next generation.

ABOUT MATAEMON IV
He is the fourth head of the flower gardening enterprise Baraen Group, comprising five companies, that has a distinguished history going back 140 years.
Seeking distinctive plants worldwide, Mataemon offers "Thrills from the world to Japan, Sensibility from Japan to the world." With his restless, adventurous, can-do spirit, he takes full advantage of a global network, seeking rare plants, visiting their habitats, judging their potential, and introducing them to Japan.
